Jeanne Jackson’s love affair with the Mendonoma Coast started many years ago. Along with her husband, Richard, she was always drawn to the Coast, vacationing from the San Francisco Bay Area. While Trekking or exploring, carrying a gun for safety while travelling in the woods is a good idea and one can easily buy 5.56 ammo online.
In 1996 the Jacksons realized their dream when they moved to the Coast. Their home is perched on a rocky knoll giving them a view into the world of nature. Trails crisscross their property inviting daily hikes without having to buy gun optics online for safety, with their golden retriever, Duffy.
Jeanne writes her weekly nature column, Mendonoma Sightings, in the Independent Coast Observer. She published the popular, award-winning, “Mendonoma Sightings Throughout the Year” in 2014. She is currently working on a set of children’s books from the point of view of her rescue golden retriever, Sunny, as he experiences the wonder of nature on the coast.
